The Tree Trail
We have put together a tree trail for the Pleasaunce which lists all 120 trees in the park and details some of them.
Table tennis
There is an outdoor ping pong table you can use for free – just ask at the cafe for bats and a ball
The cafe
Get refreshed at Pistachios in the Park, which also has a range of wooden toys for sale, and a box of toys for young visitors to play with
The Bridge
If you have a little one bring them along to the play and stay sessions held at The Bridge. The sessions are aimed at Under 5 year olds and have a variety of different activities. Find out more.
After School Clubs, evening classes and Yoga on a Saturday morning and you can hire out the Bridge for parties. Click here for more information.
Playground and ball area
Also known as the dog-free zone, you can play ball games or get swinging in the playground in this fenced-off area
Country lane
Wander the ‘country lane’ running along the north and east walls of the park – look out for wild plants and flowers
Community orchard
Visit our volunteer-run orchard, featuring pears, apples and plums – if you’re feeling peckish, help yourself if they’re in fruit. You can also get involved in caring for the orchard
Gravestones
Explore the many naval graves of maritime personnel buried here, paid tribute to annually on Trafalgar Day
Arboretum
The Pleasaunce has a beautiful and diverse collection of trees – go explore, hug and admire them! How many can you identify?
